Lordship’s Local Italian Restaurant
First and foremost we would like to congratulate the Ernst Family for their 26 years of dedication to the Lordship community. It is our privilege to take over Lordship Pizza as Lighthouse Pizza. The Vazzano’s and the LaConte’s have been involved in the pizza and restaurant industry for over 30 years, and we hope to be a part of the Lordship community for many more years to come.
We take pride in the fact that we put our customers first, and we dedicate ourselves to delivering amazing food, whether it’s fine dining, catering, or takeout. Lighthouse Pizza has already had amazing customer feedback and we are proud and honored to be a part of the wonderful Lordship community. We hope to become a Lordship landmark in Stratford, CT for future generations and hope you’ll stop in to enjoy what Lighthouse Pizza has to offer.
The name Vazzano is synonymous with restaurants. From before I was born, my family has enjoyed the restaurant business. My father ignited the passion in us way back when we owned the Fairway Restaurant in Bridgeport. From there we travelled up to Newtown where we owned the Hawley Manner Inn and Restaurant. Then, a little over twenty years ago, my brother Johnny decided to bring us closer to home when he open the first in the Vazzy’s family of fine eating establishments. I am excited to bring what I have learned over the years to Lordship and I look forward to serving this fine community – a place where some of my good friends and family call home.
I grew up in the restaurant industry alongside my Grandfather at Conti’s, a Bridgeport mainstay for over 75 years. Working in the food industry and the computer industry, has made me a well-rounded individual. I have always had a passion for cooking so once I began cooking as a profession, it has never felt like work. I strive to provide the best customer service and giving the customer exactly what they want. I wouldn’t put out a plate of food unless I would enjoy eating it myself. I'm glad to be a part of lordships community and hope to be here for many years to come.
Along with my nephew Angelo, we grew up working in the family business. While logging long hours at Conti’s, I also began working with my cousin, Johnny Vazzano. Shortly thereafter, Johnny and I opened a few of our own catering facilities and restaurants, at Fairchild Wheeler, Vazzano’s Four Seasons, Tommy’s Grill and The Windmill. And, the soon to be opened Beach House Restaurant and Bar at Short Beach. I have enjoyed serving the Bridgeport, Stratford and Fairfield Communities for over the last 15 years and look forward to many more successful years.
Johnny Jr., Alex and Ricky Vazzano
It is quite possible that the love of food and the food service industry is heredity since Johnny Vazzano’s three sons, Johnny Jr., Alex and Ricky share the same appetite for it as their dad. With plenty of Vazzy’s family restaurants and catering facilities to go around, there are ample opportunities available for all three boys to enjoy. The Lordship location has provided a great setting for the boys to learn the restaurant business from the ground up. Working alongside their uncle Chris and cousins’ Larry and Angelo, will give them the benefit of over 50 years of experience. They are thankful for the chance to serve the Lordship community.
